Derrick Camber, CMCA, AMS
President/CEO
A Cypress native and Cal State Long Beach alum, Derrick Camber is a seasoned property manager and real estate broker with a background in home loans, finance, and real estate. Derrick is CMCA and AMS certified and he’s excelled in previous roles at local property management firms. Off-duty, he can be found on the golf course, mountain biking, cooking, or dancing.
Ashley Beckner, CMCA
Director of Operations
Ashley relocated to Southern California in 2012 and has always had a passion for real estate. She has over 18 years of experience in the industry as a licensed Realtor and has focused the last 10 years in project and property management, including building her own portfolio of investment properties. Ashley spends her free time enjoying the beach with her two Belgian Malinois and volunteering for local German Shepherd Rescues.
Julia King, CMCA
Community Manager
Long Beach native Julia King, a recent University of San Diego graduate with degrees in Finance and Real Estate, brings strong local ties and hands-on experience to our team. With a passion for real estate and dedication to clients, she also enjoys time with family and weekends serving at Schooner or Later.
Sebastian De Smedt
Community Manager
Born and raised in Bruges, Belgium, Sebastian brings a passion for people and community to Oaktree Properties. With real estate experience from Compass and a background managing big events for the NFL, MLS, Long Beach Grand Prix and more at CSC, he knows how to deliver great service under pressure. He earned his Master’s in Sports Management from Cal State Long Beach and co-owns Long Beach FC, a soccer club focused on building local connections. Sebastian is all about creating welcoming spaces where residents feel right at home.
Sebastian has completed his M-100 certification.
Kimberly Gonzalez
Community Manager
Kimberly is a licensed realtor with expertise in residential real estate and commercial property management. With a strong background in customer service, she is dedicated to fostering positive relationships and ensuring her communities thrive. Outside of work, Kimberly is passionate about animal welfare and spending quality time with her daughter.
Kimberly has completed her M-100 certification.
Christy Eng
Community Manager
Christy Eng is a native of Long Beach with a diverse career background spanning insurance, logistics, and sales. Her expertise lies in providing exceptional attention to clients and ensuring a seamless experience to everyone she helps. Outside of work, she enjoys artistic pursuits, travel, and exploring culinary delights as a true foodie.
Christy has completed her M-100 certification.
Karin Kroener, CMCA
Community Manager
Karin grew up in Chicago but has lived in Los Angeles for decades. She moved to Long Beach in 2024, and is the HOA President of her association. Karin brings valuable skills from her two former careers as both a Certified Public Accountant and a high school principal. She loves Long Beach, communal living and supporting other HOAs. After work Karin can be found on her bicycle or paddle board, and loves spending time with her teenage son.
Robert Horlick
Realtor / Manager
Robert is a seasoned Newport Beach realtor with over two decades of experience, combining a deep knowledge of real estate with a commitment to community enrichment, driven by his service in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. When he’s not helping locals find their dream homes, he enjoys quality time with his three daughters and cherished granddaughter. He remains dedicated to supporting veterans and has a passion for discovering exciting culinary experiences.
Robert has completed his Real Estate Salesperson license.
